Terms of Service

Welcome to Qublin. By accessing or using our platform, website, or services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. Service Description

Qublin provides an enterprise knowledge search and AI assistant platform. Our platform indexes workspace data (such as Notion, Slack, Google Drive, Jira, Confluence, Asana) into a vector database (RAG architecture) to answer internal organizational queries using Large Language Model (LLM) APIs.

2. Third-Party Services & AI Processing

To deliver the Service, Qublin integrates with third-party software and AI service providers (such as OpenAI API). By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Data sent to AI sub-processors (such as OpenAI) via commercial APIs is processed strictly to generate responses for your organization and is not used to train or improve public AI models in accordance with OpenAI's enterprise privacy commitments.
• You are responsible for ensuring that you have the requisite permissions and rights to connect third-party workspaces (e.g. Notion, Slack, Google Drive) to Qublin.

3. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload or process illegal, infringing, defamatory, or harmful material.
• Attempt to breach or probe the security or tenant isolation controls of the Service or its sub-processors.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape the platform.

4. Intellectual Property & Data Ownership

You retain full ownership, title, and all intellectual property rights in and to any documents, text, or content indexed by your organization ("Customer Content"). Qublin acquires no rights in Customer Content except the limited right to process and store it solely to provide the Service to you.

5. Subscriptions, Free Trials & Automatic Renewal

Certain features of the Service are offered on a paid subscription basis. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree that your subscription automatically renews on a recurring monthly or annual billing cycle unless canceled prior to the renewal date via your account settings.

• Free Trials: We may offer a limited free trial or trial period. We reserve the right to modify, restrict, or terminate free trial access at any time in the event of suspected abuse or violation of these Terms.
• Usage Caps & Fees: Plan tiers include specified query and seat usage caps. Usage exceeding plan limits may require upgrading to a higher tier. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.

6. Workspace Permissions & OAuth Access

The Service respects workspace access permissions as configured via third-party OAuth providers (e.g., Notion, Slack, Google Drive). You acknowledge and agree that Customer is solely responsible for maintaining and auditing appropriate user roles, channels, and access permissions within its connected third-party platforms.

7. Data Processing Addendum (DPA)

To the extent Customer Content includes Personal Data subject to the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or UK Data Protection Law, the terms of our Data Processing Addendum (DPA) are incorporated by reference into these Terms and shall apply to such processing.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. AI-GENERATED ANSWERS MAY OCCASIONALLY BE INACCURATE OR INCOMPLETE ("HALLUCINATIONS"). YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING CRITICAL INFORMATION BEFORE ACTING ON IT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL QUBLIN, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, OR DIRECTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO QUBLIN IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms or engage in fraudulent or abusive activities.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bulgaria and applicable European Union regulations, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts located in Sofia, Bulgaria.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service following any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
